In MySQL, A join is used to retrieve results by combining data from two or more tables based on a common column.
It returns query output where matching data exists in the joined columns.
There are the following types of joins:
- INNER JOIN
- LEFT JOIN
- RIGHT JOIN
- FULL JOIN (Using UNION)
- SELF JOIN
- CROSS JOIN
